Hi! I’m Divyakshi Kedia, an illustrator and designer based in New York City.

I’m drawn to the strange little moments people carry with them: what they remember, what they misunderstand, what they exaggerate, and what somehow becomes important years later.

I like illustrating anything that asks me to think deeply about something. I enjoy being in the details, finding the unexpected, and making something feel a little more human than it was before.

I studied Communication Design and Illustration at Parsons and then, because one degree in art wasn’t enough, I got my MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts.

Alongside my illustration practice, I work across brand strategy, design, and storytelling, which tends to sneak into the way I think about composition, pacing, and point of view.

You’ll find me on the Upper West Side with my dog, Chai-Biscuit, slowly but surely chipping away at my graphic novel about growing up in Bombay.

Say hi at hello@divyakshikedia.com.
